Playback in resolve works for a few minutes and then stops
Posted: Sat Jan 02, 2021 8:10 pmI'm having an issue where in resolve 16 and 17 playback stops working completely after a few minutes or goes at around 2 fps and then stops.
I originally had this issue after updating to resolve 16 so I decided to update again to 17 to see if it would be fixed and it was not.
The only way to edit is to constantly close out of resolve and re-open it.
Also when I close resolve after it stops playing back it often stays open in the task manager and I have to manually end the task otherwise opening resolve again will result in extreme lag.
I'm running the current version of windows and my specs are:
AMD Ryzen 7 1700
Asus ROG Strix B450-I Motherboard
16GB DDR4 Ram
Radeon RX 580 8GB
Inland 480GB SSD (System and Apps)
WD 4TB External Hard Drive (Extra Files And Videos)
