All timeline tracks in export lost all the audio effects

PostSat Jan 02, 2021 9:59 pm

Hi all,
I have a huge problem and I don't know what to do with this. I need to export for archiving an 8 channel xdcam hd mxf file but the audio lost every eq and compressor and volume setting when i choose All timeline tracks. When i noticed this, i tried to use the timeline tracks for compressor and eq on the edit page instead of fairlight, but no luck. Am I missed something?

My thinking is you'll need a Multichannel Master for the timeline and use that for export.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Thank you for your help, i did some research and Multichannel Master is the key, I created more bus for the timeline tracks and now the export is fine. It's a bit tricky after Avid MC for me :)

The biggest mistake I made after switching from Premiere Pro was thinking that my previous experience meant I could just jump into a new NLE without difficulty.

Nope.

As a new user, your first course of action should be to complete some Resolve training. The Beginner's Guide and Advanced Editing are an excellent groundwork to get you moving smoothly. ;)

Of course RTFM all the time, but sometimes it's quicker and easier to ask :)
