Media search only working in List View

On the Media page doing a search is only showing results in List View.
If you start a search in Metadata or Thumbnail view it will not show anything.
This had be puzzled for quite sometime wondering why all of my clip has disappeared.

Working here in Studio 17b6 for Windows.

Could be a Date issue. I've seen some other reports about weirdness with Dates.
