I've just bought a new machine and installed the Windows version of DR Studio 17 Public Beta 6 onto it. I have a dongle and it went as far as checking the licence then shut down.
Same thing with version 16.3 Studio however with version 15.3.1 Studio it recognised the dongle and ran.
I use the dongle on other machines with 17 Studio on it without any problem (both Windows ans Linux) before and after using it on this machine so the dongle hasn't blown.
if I install the free version of DR 17 public beta 6 then it works. As it happens I have a licence key that I could use so I reinstalled the studio version and entered the key - it worked, getting past the licence checking and opening up the Project Manager, restored and opened a project, quick edit and colour grade and export it as a 1080 video - no problem.
I can't understand why it works with the activation code but not with the dongle as the dongle works on every other machine and on this one with Resolve Studio 15.
The new computer is running Windows 10.
