I updated Resolve to version 17 on one of my desktop PCs, and got this error
Unsupported GPU processing mode
going on trying to figure out what the problem was, I went into gpu configuration and found myself in front of this:
the text of the tabs, off
the card drivers are up to date and 5 minutes earlier with version 16 everything worked perfectly.

You may need to upgrade your Nvidia drivers as the dialog mentions.
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=125040 - the minimum supported driver version has changed for v17

As I had already written, I had already done the update of the drives, but despite this it kept giving the error, this is the problem.
Are there any other specific drivers I need to download?

In a File Explorer window, go to:
C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve
and run CaptureLogs
This will place a Resolve log file named similar to this on your Windows desktop: DaVinci-Resolve-logs-20181228_140434.zip (You may not see the .zip extension if your system is set to hide known extensions).
Then open Windows System Information and do a File - Save (Not a File Export), which will generate a .NFO file.
Place both those files on a file sharing site and provide links to the files here.
If you are a new Forum user, you may not be allowed to post URLs. If this happens, just put a space near the front of the URL, so the system doesn't think it's a URL.

Could you also try to clean install the Nvidia driver and see if it helps. There is a checkbox in the initial installation screens for the driver.
