Semi-solved/Problem found!(@BMDdev)Choppy/nonfluid playback!
Posted: Mon Jan 04, 2021 1:34 pmHi guys, i notice that any playback of even the simplest files, is not fluid anymore.
The playback shows 24 fps and is green but the perceived playback is not smooth, its i guess around 16-20 fps.
This happens even with PAL or 720p files. Resolve 16 plays back butter smooth.
Is this known ?
UPDATE! I found the problem. Single GPU works fluid. Double GPU works fluid! ONLY WHEN I ENABLE NVLINK this happens. But this DIDNT happen with 17 Beta1! So you guys need to look into it. As i understand, Resolve uses now NVLINK, so i would be more than happy to unify the GPU RAM.
