I input my key into my DR17b6 for Linux and it just keeps saying:

"There was an error when attempting to perform the activation. Please contact Blackmagic Design support for assistance"

I had to wipe clean my laptop and reinstall my OS and it continues to give me that. Regular Resolve works.

I have tried for about 4h and I contacted support. We tried activating on different networks and also on different versions of DR 16 and 17 and nothing. Anyone can help?

I've seen this before. Sometimes a third activation will fail to deactivate the first, and you get that error message.

You'll need to talk to someone to get that handled.

In the future, it should help to manually deactivate from the Help menu as a first step.
