Media "Half" offline - displays on right side of frame only.

Hey guys, ran into some issues with Resolve Studio that I just have not been able to trouble shoot.

Issue: Media is online when in the "Edit" tab. Error occurred when trying to export mulitple stills as TIFFs and JPGs as stills from the "color" tab. All exported TIFFs were labeled as "Media Offline" upon visiting the exported folder. Any time I go to the Color tab, half of my (any) clip shows up as "media offline" while the left side shows a preview of the clip and updates in real time when playing. A screenshot has been uploaded showing the "half offline" i am referring to.

Things I've tried:
- Deleted media cache
- Deleting optimized media / bypassing using optimized media
- restarting resolve.
- updating Resolve (to 16.2.8.005)
- Finding the half offline clip in Color tab, switching to edit tab (full clip shows up and plays fine), choosing "Open File Location" to confirm the clip has a true location.
- Setting all media to offline and relinking.
- Moving footage to new harddrive and relinking media.
- Removing Resolve Studio License key and re-entering it

I mainly need these still to export to client, but having all the of the media appear would be great also.

Any tips or ideas?

Is the first drive listed in Resolve preferences, system, media storage; permanent and u have write permission to that drive?
Is the cache to that drive?
Have u captured stills?

Thanks for the reply,

- Yes, the hard drive selected under Media Storage is a permanent internal drive (C) which i have write permissions to.
- The cache is to that drive.
- In the stills gallery, the first two or three exported fine, the rest of them had the "Media Offline logo". The footage for all the clips (where stills were pulled from) are within the same folder on my hard drive.

I apologize for a second post - i do notice when I right click on the image gallery, under "properties" and view the path for the selected image -0 when I try to locate that path (via File Explorer), the file does not seem to exist (despite it's parent folder existing). Would this be causing the issue?

It looks like you have the Image Wipe function activated in the viewer. The small icon at the top left of the viewer is highlighted, it will do a split between the current clip and the highlighted Gallery still image. If the Gallery still is unavailable, this is how it is displayed. It's likely the cache location has changed since the still was grabbed.

I hate when that happens! Every so often, I'll get "stuck" in the Image Wipe mode, will run around hitting buttons because I can't see something, then I smack my forehead and go, "oh, THIS button." For a lot of reasons I wish BYPASS and WIPE had big electric glowing signs on the GUI whenever those are activated.
