Database management/workflow

I currently have my resolve DB, CacheClip and gallery on a dedicated SSD drive.

I want to create a new database (on another SSD drive) and want to copy some of the projects from the old database to the new one. I am am able to do this using copy/paste projects from old db to new db and this works. Only problem is that all the references to the CacheClip and gallery in each project in the new db still point to the old folder locations.

My questions:
Is there a better way to move projects from one DB to another?

The location of CacheClip folders are set within each project. Is there a global setting at database level to specify the location of Cache files?

Can we specify relative folder locations for the Cache files? (relative to the project location or relative to the parent database)

You can Export/Import projects. Might not be any practical difference between Copy/Paste, though. (I don't know enough about what happens under the hood.)

You'll have to change the Cache for each project manually.

The Cache location is an absolute path, so if you want to change with each project, you'll have to set it manually every time. Personally, I find that cumbersome and find the best approach is to have a dedicated Gallery/Cache/Optimized Media/Proxy drive for all projects.
