*POOF* during simple playback

I created a timeline with a single clip of Komodo 6K HD LQ media in a 1920x1080p timeline. After adjusting the volume track and starting playback, everything looked and sounded as expected, until *POOF*

Happened to me today as well with H.264 media. Had it playing in the background as I perused the forums and...gone.

Some sort of Metal related crash.

Is it possible to get a project archive .dra of that project?
