Does the light go on? I sometimes have to restart mine by pulling the plug.
Are the cables working elsewhere? Full sized DisplayPort cables are notoriously pirated, there's even been issues with legitimate retailers who didn't know they were selling counterfeit cables that didn't fulfil the standard. One of my cables made my workstation go into protection mode as soon as it was connected.
Lights is on, and hdlink utility can recognize hdlink. I have tried 1x displayport to displayport cable and 4x displayport to mini displayport cables, cables working conected to laptop and monitors fine, maybe i have to buy special cable 1.1 or 1.2 ?
Edit---
my local shop have:
DisplayPort 1.2 cable 3m UHD 4K 21.6Gbps - 18$
DisplayPort cable 1m DP1.2 3D, 4K, with 2k 30hz -7$
DisplayPort cable 1m 1920x1200 DP1.1 - 7$
Witch one should work ?
