Show Reference Wipe KB Shortcut Issue

PostWed Jan 06, 2021 10:39 pm

I've bound Show Reference Wipe to ~ so I can flip back and forth very quickly to my ref in the Color page. This only works when you've clicked focus on the Viewer panel. Click anywhere else (still on the Color page), and ~ does nothing.

Is there a workaround for this?

Resolve 17PB, W10

Thanks!

I think the workaround would be to make sure your keyboard focus is on the Viewer first.

From what I understand, you can't change focus on the Color page with a KB shortcut or a macro. So, are you being cheeky and telling me to just click on the window every time or am I missing something?

You have assigned the wrong function. You need to use the function that is in the VIEW menu, not the Color Viewer.

BTW there is a separate forum for Resolve 17 beta.

Thank you!

I figured it was simple user error on my part independent of the version I was using. That seems to be the case. Thanks for the help!
