DaVinci Resolve won't open, visible in Task Manager though -

I am new to DaVinci, I used it about a week ago. Then tried to open it yesterday but it failed to open. I noticed a process for it was running in Task Manager so I ended the task. Also tried rebooting, reinstalling, upgrading from 16 to 17, and repeating this process to no avail.
I'm unable to find any substantive documentation on this issue, nor resolution elsewhere online.
