3840x2160 Time line and rendering. Output 3840x2176

PostThu Jan 07, 2021 8:33 pm

I'm using Lumix G7 3840x2160 video in a 3840x2160 Time Lline and rendering to NVidia H265 with same UHD resolution. The properties of the render however seem to be 3840x2176 and youtube has only rendered it at HD resolution. Anyone any ideas?

Try to render without hardware support. What do you get then?

Thank you Uli for your reply but I have seen posts on the forum saying that GPU acceleration can't be turned off for rendering, also the only H265 codec on my system is the Nvidia one.

YouTube posts videos in ascending resolution order and takes quite a while to post 4k, so you have to be patient.

Thank you Charles you are right. Just checked and it's now up in UHD. My previous experience has been that the UHD version is up in 3 to 4 hours. This time it's taken about 24 hours. Still strange that the video is 2176 rather than 2160 but that's not a problem for me.
