Davinci Resolve opens up and about 20% of the right side of the interface is off the monitor. I cannot drag it to the center or maximize it. I can't use it. Sometimes I can restart my computer and then start DR and it will be fully visible. Then, the next time I start it, it's off the screen again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it but it hasn't fixed the problem.

I have Windows 10, 48 gigs of ram, i7 quad core processor, and an 8 gig of ram invidia video card. If you need more info, I'll need to check my computer when I get home from work. Thank you for your willingness to help.

Is your monitor set to its native resolution?

My monitor is set to its native resolution, 1920 x 1400. I can't drag it to the center because the program won't allow me to grab it. Right-clicking on the task bar does not bring up the usual Windows menu. Maybe DR is a non-standard Windows app. It opened up fine today. Hopefully, it will continue that way.

Something else is amiss as Resolve should not need any dragging, it should open full screen. Your task bar should be working as normal, so if the usual menu is not there or different, then again something else is wrong.
This is Resolve on one of my 23" 1920x1080 screens with Windows Task Bar after right clicking on it. Taken with my phone.

Does the Project window appear centrally?

My Windows task bar is not visible when DR is running. If I press the Windows key at the bottom left of my keyboard, exposing the Windows task bar, right clicking on it does bring up the usual choices. If I right-click on the bottom of the DR window, the menu says "show Icon and Labels" or "Show only Icons". Yes, the project window appears centered. Thanks.

Sounds if that's all working as it should. The only difference I have is the Windows Task Bar is set to auto hide.

My Windows task bar is set to auto-hide, too. However, it won't pop up when I'm running DR. Fortunately, DR is loading properly the past 3 times. I hope my problem is a thing of the past.

Have you tried the "Reset UI" option in Resolve?
