I'd be interested to know too.

I'm planning on using a 2014 iMac on a GB network.
Is it even remotely (ahah) good enough for more or less two clients ?

well, our DB did work for almost one year without any problems on a potato server. ofc we ran into a few bugs and problems, but we got it fixed.
What really killed it was when my internet connection lagged and transactions into the db weren't properly written into the DB. I'll try to find a screenshot of the timeline. it was hilarious.

You don't need a massive machine, but good response times over the network.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

Studio 19.1.3
MacOS 13.7.4, 2017 iMac, 32 GB, Radeon Pro 580 + eGPU
MacBook M1 Pro, 16 GPU cores, 32 GB RAM, MacOS 14.7.2
