Resolve Studio crashing when clicking on fusion button

I'm trying to solve this tutorial:

the source files are two pictures, but Davinci just stops.

Same here. However, it crashes at random times - such as saving the project and playing back. In this particular project I've added a new FUSION composition with rotating text.Stops crashing once the compositions are removed. Stock and prepackaged titles work just fine.

Running ver. 17.0B Build 18

Any thoughts? Need more info? Thanks in advance for any and all feedback and help.

I doubt your GPU is good enough for this.
