fluid layout

PostFri Jan 08, 2021 2:21 pm

Hi,

I was wondering if it were possible to unfix windows in resolve's layout? I was using the 2 screen option which was nice but as I am using resolve more with more complex timelines I need to see more timeline so i can copy paste things easier from one part to another. I got rid of two window option and i streched the whole thing across both monitors (this is what I do in lightworks). The problem is that the window showing the timeline's video is stuck right in the middle of the 2 monitors and so it's right where they join which is hard to view properly. I'd like to keep it on the right monitor (like when you pass a clip over to insert it pushes the timeline video over but then when you edit timeline it pushes it back to the middle).

Is there a possiblity of placing the video on the right with a fluid interface or something?

Thanks!

Try using Full Screen Timeline.

Yeah, i saw that and it's interesting but I's like to stretch the whole timeline across 2 monitors (as opposed to more height) and not have the video right in the middle.
