Dear All,

I have bought Davinci resolve 16 Studio and have my dongle. As a complete beginner I have some troubles with saving keywords to video I edit in Davinci resolve. I enter keywords using media tab on the bottom and after I have entered keywords I chose to render it. After the video was rendered I right clicked on it and in the detail tab I could not see any keyword I entered. How can I save my keywords to my video in Davinci resolve.

Regrads,

Those keywords are for use inside Resolve. You might look to another program to modify the metadata of files on the hard drive.

I don't fully understand. Do you want to burn text into your picture or do you want metadata?

Keywording is very weak in video processing applications, including DaVinci Resolve.
Keywords can be applied to clips for use within a project.
If you move to another project and import the same clip the keywords are not present.
If you want to use clips across projects and want the keywords to survive, you need to put the clips in a "Power Bin". Power Bins are not shown by default. You must go to the "View" menu and check "Show Power Bins".
That will enable you to maintain keyword for clips across projects within DaVinci Resolve.

Resolve won't write keywords to a video file exported from the Deliver page. You're looking for either system-level or file-level metadata tagging, and that's not what Resolve does. On MacOS Mavericks and later, Apple incorporated OpenMeta, and now simply calls the feature "Tags." Not sure about windows. For file-level metadata tagging, you'd need a video codec which supports it, and I'm no expert on those, either, but someone here should know. Maybe EXIF/JPEG2000?

Thank you all responding to my question. Do you have any useful links for beginners in Davinci?
