Hello, I have a somewhat serious issue with the new release 17.0b build 18.

Basically I have a clip that is H264, the rest apple pro res 422 or DNxHD 1080p.

At first it plays, then out of no where, when I playback, audio VUs go up for a split second, and nothing else appears. Scrolling will either be frozen on the frame or goes to black.

I assume it has something to do with the graphics card (because in fusion I get something like "can't start gpu" for the rendering, even though it renders) but It worked like a charm since version 16.

would it be the H264 that use to give issues?

adding to my previous post, the task manager show the GPU process @ 100% even when not doing anything.

and when I quit resolve, the process still stays active @100% and the only way to kill the task is by rebooting !!!!

What driver for the GPU? (Studio 460.89 seems to be working well here.)

mine is at 461.09, updated 01/07/2021. (RTX 2080 8gigs)

So I went back to 460 (which they call the driver for creative apps) and now everything is back to full speed!!!

Good to hear.

This happened to me despite not having driver version 469. I am on 461.
