What about a CPU-based HVEC delivery?
Posted: Sat Jan 09, 2021 9:42 pmI'm running a late model laptop with a Quadro M1000M GPU (2 GB VRAM). Totally under-spec'd for Resolve 17, however, it works surprisingly well for small projects. I would like to be able to output in H.265 (HVEC), however, Resolve apparently only supports HVEC out via the GPU-based encoder (not supported by the M1000M). I can always use Media Composer or Shutter Encoder on this same system to output HVEC so it's not a showstopper, but I would think Resolve should be able to as well (even though it would be quite slow).
