Hi,

I shot some scenes at 60 fps (pocket 4k) to put some slow motion shots in my video. But when I change the clip speed it says its currently 24fps instead 60 fps (when editing, not in the fuile viewer where it says 60fps). If I just reduce the framerate maybe it still plays how I want, I'm not sure if its playing smooth or not, but is there a way I can see it as 6ofps and reduce to 24fps?

I'm thought i tried this before on other videos and it seemed to work ok and speed displayed correctly, maybe its something in my settings.

I accidently recorded some at 60fps/25fps and I can see they are already in slow motion out of the camera. Is that what you are referring to?

you should record project rate at 25 and off speed 60

The Pocket 4K has two ways of filming at 60 fps - Project Frame Rate and Off Speed Frame Rate.

The latter will automatically play in slow motion for a 24 fps project.

Ok, that's what I thought. So for future shots I'll just do 24/60 directly on the camera. Nice!

I am learning a lot with camera since it's so different than dslr. I do find the grainyness on dark objects annoying though, even with decent light.

you should always try to shoot at the native ISO, with any necessary adjustments
if you can't do it any other way.

Therefore, you should also read the chapter on dual ISO in the manual.
means, from 1250 ISO you have less noise than with 1000 ISO and
in low light, use 1250 ISO (native 3200) and up.
and with enough light use 400 ISO (if necessary with ND filter).

Recent shots i took are all over 1000 iso, I think 1600 and in 2000 range and I see grainyness on dark objects when editing and creating more contrast. Is it recommended to use 3200 then (when not ideal amount of light and not overexposed) and adjust in post or just stay above 1000 depending on the amount of light, when its not enought light?

I've seen that as well, even at Native ISO. The Pocket 4K is often noisier than the original Pocket.

Frustrating.
