Rolling Trim causes playback error

Hello, I have a quick question (hopefully). I don't do a ton of video editing, but I've used the free Resolve for a while to make quick clips from my GoPro (multiple clips, music, slow motion, etc). I have a new computer, and have stumbled across an issue in the latest versions (16 and 17beta). I'm assuming it's user error or a wrong setting on the new computer.

When I use the rolling edit cursor, it causes the playback window to stumble on a few frames in a loop. The only way to unstick things is to save the project, close resolve, and restart the program. Everything seems to works fine until I try to use the rolling trim again.

I have a video of it (and I apologize for using the GoPro to capture it in advance)

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

I'd also like to add that this is not clip or project specific. It happens on multiple projects with completely different video files.

Anyway, thanks for any help!

So, I think I have it figured out. I had been updating the computer, but through the Windows tool. I finally dove into the device manager, and the video drivers were listed as Realtek.... I updated directly from the AMD site, and things are functioning as expected now. Thanks!

I'll updated again if things change.
