Relink clips - comprehensive search slow

Hi all. I'm busy working on a project that recently wrapped shooting. I have now been given a NAS with the entire month's footage, replacing the USB drive I've been grading Ep 01 from.
Everything is very well organised on the NAS, but I can't easily relink as Davinci doesn't seem to search subfolders. The comprehensive search works fine to replace the clips but it takes so long that it is faster to relink small batches of clips at a time. And there are several hundred.
Is there a way to get Davinci to search subfolders while relinking? If not, is there a way to speed up comprehensive search? Thanks in advance.
Info on project: Arri Mini shooting to 2k ProRes 4444. Ably managed by the DIT.

The speed of the hardware will be the limit here, I think.

If the only difference between the the two folders is the location of the top-most folder, then it’s faster to use the “Change Source Folder” option instead. As long as all the sub folder structures are the same, everything will relink instantly, using this method.

Thanks. Unfortunately, in this case the media was media managed into a single folder initially so that wasn't an option. It's just weird that it would take like 5 hours to comprehensively search a few terabytes of media.
I do find it odd that Resolve doesn't seem to search in subfolders. Unless, of course, I'm missing something here. The same behaviour is exhibited when searching for media in the the media pool - it won't find anything in a folder a level below the one you're searching from. Unless, curiously, you select the folder you want to search in plus one other folder in the media pool. Also weird.

That's a bummer. I know it's too late now, but for future reference, you'll want to make sure that when media managing a Resolve project/timeline that you always enable the "Preserve Folder Hierarchy" option, so as to avoid relinking slowdowns like the one you're experiencing. I personally think this option should be enabled by default, but it isn't.

Oh my word. Another little feature I've never noticed! Thank you for this.

Thanks Mel, I'll remember this for next time.
