Fairlight Hardware Build-outs

Sorry in advance for the rudimentary question as I am new to Fairlight. I am contemplating the purchase of a Fairlight Accelerator to enhance mixing for a fairly large project - Will have around 400 tracks of audio. Am I supposed to connect Fairlight Accelerator to Fairlight Audio Interface for enhanced mixing or can I just use the MADI output from the Accelerator and feed it to another audio interface like RME UFX+. Fairlight Audio Interface does not have all the functionalities for my setup.

You dont need the accelerator for 400 tracks with v17s new audio engine and flexbus.

The accelerator will give you a connection to the MADI I/O and the MADI Expander and the Fairlight Interface.

What features are missing from the Fairlight Interface?
