XML import not accurate

I'm having trouble with importing an XML into my Davinci timeline. The XML was exported from premiere and when I add it to the timeline in Davinci the clips appear to be of different lengths and some shots are different. does anyone have any idea what is wrong here (I'm new to Davinci) as it's a 2 hour film and a lot to re-edit in Davinci with a exported video as reference (plus i could mess up the timings and cause issues with the sound designer)
Thanks in advance for any help!

More details needed to help.
Is this with R16 or 17?
Mac or Win?
can you supply the XML with an example clip?

If the editor used Premiere's "Interpret Footage" settings to change the playback timebase of source clips, then those framerate interpretation values will not be read by Resolve.

You can, however, force those clips back into alignment in Resolve, by using the "Clip Attributes" panel for each offending clip, and changing the Frame Rate to match whatever interpreted frame rate the editor used in Premiere for that clip.

There is also a utility that purports to translate such XMLs so that Resolve will conform to intepreted clips, but I've never been able to get it to work (and in fact, I diff'ed test XML files of sequences with and without interpreted framerates, and didn't see anything that would indicate that this info is actually preserved in XML exports from Premiere). But just for what it's worth:

Are you sure that the offending clips have proper TC?
