auto update new version online

i've just bought Davinci studio 17 recently. i was not able to check and update the new version automatically by select the Davinci tab function provided. i was reminded to check the internet connection though. i don't know what's going on

The current version is 17.0 beta 6. For M1 Macs it is 17.1 Beta 6. All downloads are in the Support page on the BMD website. https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/family/davinci-resolve-and-fusion

On a side note, updates won't occur automatically. (Nor should they.)

All we get is a reminder that an update is available and the option to download it.
