How can I downgrade the database to 16 version?

I regret to upgrade to 17 beta...
The 17 Beta crashed too many times... Now once I open my project, it crashed immediately, can't even export the diagnosis report now.

I luckily saved one copy of diagnosis report when the first few crashes happened...
System: Windows 10
NVIDIA driver: 460.89

But it's too large (232M) to upload here, where can I upload? I can't find any info in FAQ page.

For the moment, is there any way to downgrade the database to 16 version?
Thank you so much!

Your version 17 database is not backwards compatible with version 16.

What GPU do you have, and how much RAM?

As for logs:
In a File Explorer window, go to:

C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve

and run CaptureLogs

This will place a Resolve log file named similar to this on your Windows desktop: DaVinci-Resolve-logs-20181228_140434.zip (You may not see the .zip extension if your system is set to hide known extensions).

Then open Windows System Information and do a File - Save (Not a File Export), which will generate a .NFO file.

Place both those files on a file sharing site and provide links to the files here.

As you are a new forum user, place a space in the link so that the system doesn't recognize it as a URL.

Hi Charles,

Thank you for your help!

I have 2 GPUs on my desktop: Nvidia GTX 1080 ti (RAM: 11GB), AMD Vega 56 (RAM: 8GB). System RAM: 64GB. Nvidia 1080 ti is in the primary slot on motherboard, so I'm assuming DaVinci Resolve will only use Nvidia GTX 1080 ti.

The 2 files for diagnosis are in Dropbox: (placing a space in the link doesn't work, so I removed the domain name.)
/s/wckajt9vmo14jmn/DaVinci-Resolve-logs-20210112_184842.zip?dl=0
/s/r0rixzkf96wfapb/Windows_10.nfo?dl=0

Let me know if you need more info. Thank you!

Best,
Yilu

First thing you should do is remove the AMD GPU and uninstall it's driver.

The logs are not for me, they are for BMD. ;)
As Jim says, remove the AMD GPU as it has less vram. Mixing GPUs of different manufactures and vram sizes is not recommended.
This could be the source of your crashes.
