M1 clean feed super washed out

Hi, I just found a major bug in DaVinci Resolve Studio. I have Apple Mac mini M1 and using Clean Feed video output for my LG TV via HDMI. It works with normal DaVinci 17 version for MacOS but with 17.1 optimised for M1 chip the preview is super washed out.
I installed back the 17 version for Mac and it's working again like a charm.

Anybody has experienced the same issue? Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks

I have the exact same issue. Monitor for "Video Clean Feed" is super washed out compared to my "Primary Display" timeline.

My setup is just a Dell monitor (Monitor 2) for the "Video Clean Feed" and my Macbook M1 as my "Primary Display". It was fine before but now it's washed out if I enable the "Use Mac display color profiles for viewers".

Any advice?

The only thing working for me - downgrade to regular 17.0 version (not optomised for M1). According to BMD support there’s no performance difference between those two only stability. And stability of 17.0 is solid.

No problem here on a MB Air M1 with a screen connected by HDMI. Clean feed looks normal.
How is yours seen by the LG? Mine is an LG too, but a monitor, no TV.

Edit: OK, I can reproduce it by switching to "Use Mac display color profiles for viewers". So, just don't.
Seems there's still some incompatibility there.

I have exactly the same problem. I have the "Use Mac Display color profiles for viewers" checked, which has worked fine in the past. I am running on a 2020 iMac. This same setup used to work perfectly with Resolve 16.

As far as I understand it, that option should be checked to get the the most accurate color. If I uncheck this option, then Rec.709 video appears OK in the clean feed viewer. Perhaps this is the best workaround until this is fixed.

The big problem with unchecking "Use Mac Display color profiles for viewers" is that I can no longer see Rec.2020 clips correctly displayed with HDR brightness on my primary display which is an Apple Pro Display XDR. With that option checked, I do get to see the proper HDR brightness levels for Rec.2020 HLG clips.
