Does Studio Support Dolby Vision On iPhone 12 Pro And Pro Max ?
It loads it and appropriately labels it as HLG. It supports 10-bit data. And it supports creation of Dolby Vision. I've heard that Dolby Vision does frame-by-frame things that it's not clear to me that any software does anything directly with this.
So I've loaded Dolby Vision from my iPhone 12 Pro and had reasonable results. (I used their Managed Color option.) But I'm not sure about all of the potential details and interactions that might occur. I've read that Dolby Vision is not a good acquisition format because of these issues, so have gotten Filmic Pro and am just recording 10-bit at Filmic's higher bitrate, and not doing Dolby Vision.
