Fusion MediaIn always has keyframes marker

PostWed Jan 13, 2021 12:43 am

Whenever I enter Fusion the MediaIn node has the keyframes marker on it (the half-filled diamond) even though there are no keyframes associated with it. You can reset the Fusion Comp, etc, and this indicator does not go away.

That's normal.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I know it shows up all the time, but it's my understanding that it's supposed to indicate that there is an attribute of the node that has been keyframed by the user. That is, if you poke around in the node's Inspector panels you will find a red diamond somewhere.

Again, I may be misunderstanding the purpose of the icon, but if it means what I think it means, it's misleading to have it default to on for MediaIn nodes.
