Multiple Audio instances after sync (Tentacles)

PostWed Jan 13, 2021 9:22 am

Just run into a problem - got audio from my sound guy for a feature film I shot.
As usual I dropped it (together with my BRAW material) in the pool and synced via timecode (we used tentacles). We had max 4 mics running at the same time, so I should get max 4 tracks of audio - right?

What I get is up to 24(!) tracks, some with tracks from other shots, some quiet (empty), some 2 or 3 fold.

Did I miss something?

PS - this happens in 16 and 17

Were the four mics recorded on the same device? You have a multi-track audio file, or a single mono file for each mic?

Which version of Resolve are you currently running? (Things changed on this front, so it matters.)
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
