Issue with importing BRAW media files into DaVinci Res.

PostWed Jan 13, 2021 11:28 am

I have problem with BRAW importing into latest version of DaVinci Resolve 16.2.8
Basically it doesn't do anything , not only it doesn't do anything nor importing or any sort of error but also BlackMagic raw Player also doesn't play and also doesn't react at all when I try to play the files,
Each file is around 1.6GB , shot on URSA Mini Pro 12K brand new camera and they playback smoothly on the camera itself but DaVinci Resolve just NOTHING! any advise or help would be very appreciated.

P.S: My system (MacBook) currently is weak but it should also at least show something or an error message.

Cheers,
Alex S.

I think you will need version 17 for that media.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Or 16.3 beta.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

Right.

Beta version in either case, though.
