I have been editing a video I'm making of a game on google. I've had to cut out lots of parts to make it shorter, and I've also been trying to crop out the search bar from the top of the screen. However it seems that whenever I try to crop the video, I can only do it to the individual clips limited on each side by cuts. I can't seem to be able to crop out the search bar for the entire video (I've tried selecting the entire video, and the crop option disappears). Does anyone know any ways to do so without rendering the video? (I also have trouble rendering but I'll ask on a separate post).

P.S. I apologies if I didn't explain it well, I only started getting into editing recently and I don't know what words to use

There are several options, but an easy one is to add an Adjustment Clip above the clips you want to crop, then crop the Adjustment Clip.

An Adjustment Clip is an effect available in the Effects Library > Toolbox > Effects.

Another option is Output Sizing, available on the Color page under the Sizing panel.

Thanks a million, the first option worked like a charm. But because I had to crop it manually, the video isn't centered. Is there a way to center the video automatically so that the video fills the frame as much as possible and the black lines on the sides are filled symmetrically or do I have to do it manually?

You used the Crop part of the Inspector, use the other options as well. Such as Transform.
