Issues With Timeline Timecode Entry (17.0B Build 18)

PostWed Jan 13, 2021 7:20 pm

Hello all!

I seem to be encountering an issue with entering timecode values for playhead transport in Resolve 17.0 Public Beta Build 18. For both source media and record timelines, I am unable to manually enter timecode values straight from my numberpad without first selecting the timecode entry window. Before upgrading to 17, I was able to simply tap my absolute timecode, press return, and be transported to those values without navigating to the entry window.

This is obviously not detrimental , but it does add an additional step. I'm curious if there is a setting that needs to be turned on or off to allow for this form of timeline transportation, or if this is a bug with the Beta.

I do not have Print Light Hotkeys turned on. My OS is Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2.

Thanks all!

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Oh! Okie doke. How interesting.

So to those who find this after saying to themselves, "how come I can't type in numbers to navigate by timecode anymore?"

You still can - you just need to hit = first.

Thanks for the link, Jim!
