"Connect to tracker" in Fusion makes DRS 17b freeze

PostWed Jan 13, 2021 9:38 pm

Hi,

a Tracker makes the whole DRS 17b6 freeze on Win10 when (see pic) I connect a e.g. Text's center to the Trackers unsteady position.

Short process:
* Have a MediaIn
* Connect a Tracker, choose something to track, let it track --> track is generated, choose Operation -> Match move
* Connect Merge
* Connect e.g. Text to Merge
* Connect Merge to output
-> choose in Text's Layout by rightclicking on "Center" Connect to -> Tracker -> Unsteady position
17b6 is FROZEN, need to be killed.
(Before telling me that I can connect the text to the Tracker's green tab --> the intended final Fusion network is more sophisticated. This post is simply the hint on something, that should work. I've seen this works in DRS16.)

Tried this ...
* on two different machines
* with different items to connect (Ellipse, Rectangle, ...)
* with a Transform in between the form and the merge and then connected the Transform's center to the tracker's unstady position
==> all the same result: DRS 17b freezes

Scheme in the picture.

Hopefully somebody con confirm this problem, then take it as a bug report. Otherwise I'm to stupid to set it up right. :-(

Joerg
