This is a strange problem I am having and it is something I have done many times successfully .
You have 2 layers, add alpha channel to layer 2, add a window and it should cut through to layer 1. the same for a chroma key. When I do this I just get black? I was on V16.2 and have now gone to V17 . still doing it. I know you can do this in Fusion, but I always did this in the color page. on a Mac.
Just discovered a work around, if you go to the Edit page, make them a compound clip, Decompose, go back to the color page and it works? How strange,..
