Automation and batch rendering?

Hello! I'm transcoding a ton of footage from various cameras into dailies and proxies.

Dragging all clips into a timeline, exporting individual clips while maintaining source file name and directory structure works fine.. but is tedious and not scalable for me.

I automate other applications with Python and Thinkbox Deadline to push out render jobs to my render farm.

I'm familiar with the "remote render" feature but this still requires me to manually create each timeline.

is there anyone else pursing some kind of batch process like this? export settings always stay the same.. so it's more about creating the bin, making a timeline, and starting a render.

The Studio version offers a lot of scripting features, see the help menu, documentation, dev doc, scripting.. there are samples there too.
