Can paste attributes - Fusion effects be expanded?

PostThu Jan 14, 2021 5:10 am

Current behaviour is for paste attributes- Fusion effects to be restricted to just the inbuilt (eg text) effects.

It would be very useful to be able to paste bespoke Fusion comps - ie I have a 3*talent green screen shot that uses desperate keyers/masks etc keyed over a BG all in the Fusion effect on a clip - but copy then paste attributes to other timeline clips does not work.

Workaround ATM is to switch to Fusion page, select all nodes in flow, switch to colour page (C mode sorted), go to next edit, switch to Fusion, select all in default flow & delete, then paste the flow. I've got it on a macro but there's quite a delay in the page switching,

(Ideally I'd be able to paste instance the flow - so one master timeline clip held the flow and the other clips had all but their media ins & outs as instances, Thus adjustin the master clip flow would then be reflected in all the instances,)

There is a separate forum for Feature Requests.

viewforum.php?f=33

Best practice is to search first, to see if someone already asked. If not, post one idea per thread with a very brief description of the idea in the thread's title.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
