Quick question:
I ordered a speed editor through my local official retailer. It arrived today and I discovered that it was bundled with a dongle. I asked for an activation code instead but apparently you cannot mix match the two.
It arrived with a dongle and must be sold with that dongle. If I want an activation code instead I have to order again a new bundle with activation code. And who knows how long it will take.

Unless...

The reseller told me he knows someone who has an activation code and would prefer a dongle.
Assuming this other guy’s code is legit and that we trade my dongle for his activation key. Could there be a problem in the long run for me? As I didn’t buy that specific licence?

Also is there a way for me to quickly check that this licence is legit and is not linked to another workstation?

I might have taken you up on this. I prefer the dongle and didn't know the bundle was offered with such.

Alas, until the Cut page can access my Smart Bins directly, it's useless to me.

(Plus, my state's Tyrant still hasn't opened things up for me to work. )
