Seeking Beginner's guide for a real beginner

I'm using DiVinci Resolve 16 to begin my learning curve in video editing. my past experience is in audacity with audio only. I am computer literate, just not with video editing.
I've been going through many YouTube videos and they are helping. But what I'm not finding is help getting started from scratch. Most tutorials assume I know how to manage my databases and project servers and other parts of the Resolve system. I do not. I am a babe in the video woods.
I'll keep slogging on watching tutorials and looking here for help and answers. I don't even know what I don't know yet.
Stay well,
Carson

Thanks, Jim. This looks like a great reference. I'll start using it right away.
And, to the writers, thanks for making a good pdf with hotlinks, an index, and with page numbers that actually match the pdf pages.

Recently completed the Beginner’s Guide and highly recommend it. Hope you have fun with the projects and learning a lot about DaVinci Resolve. The training is progressive, building upon knowledge and skills so take notes and don’t be afraid to redo a project or two.
