DaVinci Resolve 17 beta 6 wont load media

Hi I recently upgrade to DaVinci Resolve 17 however none of my past projects and new projects wont load any media. I have waited about an hour and the video still won't play and I can't see any "thumbnail" on any of the videos i have imported in. I have had the same problem on beta 6, 5 and 4. Thanks in advance.

Do you have an AMD GPU ?

A quick thing to try that another user said fixed a similar issue after a 17 update:
Open Resolve Preferences - System - Decode Options.
Uncheck "Decode H.264/H.265 using hardware acceleration"
Save the prefs and restart Resolve.

Already tried that with my 6800XT and doesn't work ... it also affects Resolve 16 but at least it's loading faster ~ 1-5 mins to a project ... Thumbnails take forever and can't play anything until it finishes , while waveforms load instantly.
Happens only with the 6800XT, the 1080Ti works fine.
Also while editing, sometimes (with the radeon card) the frames skip and jump... otherwise if i manage to do a whole edit the 6800XT is insanely good .. can render almost real time 4K edits with 10 nodes and one of them is a noise reduction one...
I believe (wild guess) that the culprit might be the AMD's shader chache option but that can't be disabled anymore from the driver.
I have filed a bug report to them but i guess something comming from BMD would have a better impact.
