GPU 100% and Davinci crashes

I've got a problem, my davinci program starts crashing. I've edited like 2 videos just fine, without any crashes, not a single one. But now, afterr like week or two of not using the program, everytime i start editing, Davinci start taking 100% of my gpu after few steps or sometimes just one cut. I dont know why. I have RTX 2070 8 gb so it should be fine, but i really need help.

Literally the same thing has happened to me. I can only function the software for about 2 minutes until it crashes.

The same happens to me.
I use Davinci Resolve 17 beta6 and can't use Davinci for more than 30 sec.
Everything worked just fine before updating to the latest Nvidia drivers.
I personally didn't try to downgrade or install the studio version.
Really hope that the next update of drivers or Davinci would fix the issue.
The crash happens when I scroll through video or when I color grading for about 20 sec, which causes GPU 100% usage.
After that I got error 702: The GPU failed to perform image processing because of an error.
Sometimes I don't even go error and need to kill a process.

Try doing a clean install of todays 460.89 STUDIO NVIDIA driver and see if that helps.

I am running an Ividia gforce mx230, dell laptop inspiron 17 3000, Intel i7-1065g7@1.30. Set tiff in time line, went to fusion, added text , got it to roll added merge and no text roll on right hand view. Switch to edit screen and hit play. Blue line started but no roll. Then error code 702. new computer installed bmd beta 7, it said it would not work with Ividia card to removed and reinstalled beta 6. everything worded so far up to the fuson tiff and text merge mode. Any suggestions, computer is still in return stage should I scrap it and get a different computer or is there a fix. I would not allow me to not used Ividia selection.
