Can't open Davinci Resolve 16

Hi,

I can't seem to open DaVinci resolve 16.2.8, I managed to make a shortcut by finding the application in the Users>Program Files>Blackmagic Design>Davinci Resolve but it just tries to open and stops. Occasionally I have managed to get it to present the skippable tutorial and what resolution I'd like to work on my project in, but it never makes it to the actual user interface.

My computer specs are 12GB RAM, G4560 processor running @3.5GHz, and not sure what size the graphics card is (NVidia GEFORCE?). I got a warning when installing Resolve that the graphics card wasn't powerful enough to do color balancing, but I'm not going to be doing that so it's probably not an issue (same with the slightly smaller than ideal RAM).

I've seen on the forum before that I can run the CaptureLogs file, but I'm not sure what to do with the .zip it puts on my desktop. Could someone help me figure out why it's not loading? Alternatively, I just want whatever the most intuitive windows software is (anything similar to iMovie I picked that up in about an hour), this seemed like the right fit. The editing i do is a very occasional hobby, so if I'm using the wrong software please let me know what might be a better fit.

I wouldn't ignore that warning.

If you're not in a position to upgrade to a sufficiently powerful system, Resolve may not be the best choice.
