Fusion Nodes

PostSun Jan 17, 2021 3:26 am

Is there a list of DaVinci Resolve Fusion nodes that list what they do, and how/where they can and/or should be used??? Kind of like how a keyboard shortcut list set up.

I don't know about a list of what each node does, but I'm skeptical it'd be possible to create a list of how to use them. The flexibility is sooooo high, the permutations would make it impossible to list every creative option.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

This is usually called reference manual and is common practice. There is no flexibility in what a node does, flexibility is only in what user uses it for.

Im sure there used to be a description of every node available...maybe that was in the Eyeon interface?
I can see it in my mind, but not in the program, or the manual.

Exactly. Not sure a full list of those possibilities is doable.

It isn’t and it isn’t the point of reference manual either. User guide already provides a glimpse of it.

I don’t disagree...maybe something more narrow like “commonly used for.”
