Cannot play video after cutting video track.

PostSun Jan 17, 2021 7:27 am

I recently downloaded DaVinci Resolve 16 to edit my videos that I want to upload to YouTube and so far it has been working great. Since a few days ago, I sadly cannot work with it anymore, since the program makes my whole PC crash after jumping to a specific time in the video. Also, I cannot play the second part of the video after splitting it. I feel like i just changed a few settings by accident, which is the reason I am facing these problems as of now.

If anyone knows a solution, please let me know if you need further information.
Thank you.

There's no setting in Resolve that will cause the whole machine to crash.

These days, Windows 10 is pretty damn stable. It's not easy to crash it. The first two places I'd look are failing hardware or a bad driver.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
