Upgrading Speed Editor Software

PostMon Jan 18, 2021 3:42 pm

Is it possible to check that the Speed Editor has the latest software?

Someone is doing it below. Does anyone know how to get to that screen?

When you install DaVinci Resolve at some point you can choose what to install. Make sure you check the box which says "Davinci Control Panels".

Control Panels is a own App and when your Speed Editor is connected and you launch the Control Panels then this screen will show up.

It is pretty easy

1. Connect the Speed editor via USB,
2. then start the "Davinci Control Panels" application.
3.then click on "DaVinci Keyboard"

Thanks Pierre,

In the Help dropdown I see. I was looking in the preferences Control.

Presumably it tells you when the software is out of date.

Or should on click Factory Reset?

"Peter Chamberlain, Blackmagic Design

The speed editor requires Bluetooth BLE, can u confirm your system uses this Bluetooth format"

I have just bought one of these and for the first time (ever) my Speed Editor is working on Bluetooth.
