GPU Usage Spikes and freezes

so I just installed the latest Version which rn is Resolve 17 beta 6.
It works fine at the beginning but if I want to edit a clip via scrubbing (on the timeline in the edit tab) then the GPU usage jumps to 100% and Davinci Freezes. Something similar happend as I used Keyframes to change Speed of the clip.
The weird part is that the GPU Usage Jumps from 100% to 30% then back to 100%... stays there a little, goes to 99% back to 100% and so on. But in all this time Davinci aint doing anything. It is either frozen (due to scrubbing) or lagging pretty hard (due to speed keyframing). The Usage doesnt stop until I close Davinci. No matter how long it has been frozen.
Im using a GTX1080 with latest driver and I made sure that the GPU is selected in the preferences.
I've read about problems caused by some USB devices like Capture Cards, Audio devices etc. and I allready unplugged them but that doesnt change anything.
Specs:
Windows 10 Enterprise
Asus B450 f gaming
GTX 1080
Ryzen 7 2700x
Corsair Vengance 2x8GB
