"Mute Tracks" Keyboard shortcut not working

17 Beta here.

On Keyboard Customization... Timeline > Mute Tracks.

So ok, during playback, pressing the hotkey won't mute it. Even if I select the clip and then press the hotkey

The Mute Tracks command under the Timeline menu is at the Audio Track level.

To effectively mute an Audio Clip use the "D" shortcut for the "Enable Clip" command.

How "Enable Clip" fits into this? What is "Enable Clip"?

Enable Clip is effectively the same as Mute Clip. It toggles the Audio Clip's state between enabled and disabled (mute).

The Mute Track command is only operational with an Audio Track selected - it does not apply to Audio Clips directly.

"Enable/Disable Clip" works for both audio and video and I would still have to select the segment first only to then press the hot key. I need something quicker and more practical... I need a hotkey that will automatically kill all Resolve's audio as soon as I press it... Am I asking too much?

Assign a custom keybinding to Mute in the Keyboard Customisation window which toggles the Monitoring panel's Mute button.

This is also available under the Fairlight menu > Mute
