Remote Versions

PostTue Jan 19, 2021 3:06 pm

I created a remote version that involve many pieces of a clip.
Now i would like to unlink the clip from the remote version, cause i noticed that there are incompatible processes that i need to do among the fragments of the clip.

I want that, once got rid of the remote version, the parts of my clip are unlinked to be able to color each of them separetely, and not all together.

Thank you in advance!

Never actually done this but...on the Color page, right click the clip and Copy Remote Grades to Local.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

In addition to Jim's solution, you could also create a second and third Remote version for the other clips. Then on any additional occurrences of the shot, you can toggle through the versions to see if one matches or if you need a fourth version.
